The Opportunity 

We are looking for an amazing technical lead web developer to join a fast-paced innovation team. You’ll work on experiences that create new businesses for one of the most respected brands in the country. You should be a leader by example, enabling your team to reach its goals while maintaining Legacy’s standards and values.  You should be very familiar with the Node.js ecosystem and many of the emerging tools to build highly responsive and fast websites.  Our ideal candidate has experience building data APIs for consumption by both internal and external customers. Experience building distributed systems in a service oriented architecture is also preferred.  You will play an essential role in building an exciting new set of sites from the ground up. 


  • Architect and develop full stack solutions as a hand-on member of a sprint team 
  • Actively participate in Agile process by helping with team sprints, stories/ scenarios 
  • Do code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the team members. 
  • Take ownership of specifications, work breakdown, planning and scheduling 
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement. 
  • Communicate regularly with product management team 
  • Evaluate new technologies/ frameworks and adapt into product as required. 


  • Strong relevant skills with at least 8 years of experience with minimum of 2 years in leadership role 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science or related fields 
  • Proven experience of managing delivery of products 
  • Experience in programming large scale web applications from scratch 
  • Hands-on experience in Full Stack Development 
  • Strong in data structures, algorithms and software design 
  • Server Side Development Experience with Node.js or .Net 
  • Expert in Javascript the language 
  • Experience in JavaScript libraries and SPA frameworks like JQuery, React, AngularJS, etc. 
  • Experience creating isomorphic applications 
  • Knowledge and experience in relational databases preferably SQL Server. 
  • Understanding of RESTful architectures and experience working/interacting with web services. 
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and programming patterns 
  • Follows Agile methodology 
  • Familiarity with TDD and continuous integration 
  • Unix/Linux development experience preferred. 
  • Good communication skills & strong team player. 
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments. 
  • Actively seek out new challenges on your own 
  • Have strong personal organization and attention to detail while maintaining high level of code quality
